I cosplayed as Miku because my friend Meaghan asked me to. I didn't have time to complete this costume on my own so Mea and Kakeranotsuki came over to my house for a sewing party! This costume was a group effort so I can't take total credit for it. I made the red dress and crown. Kakera made the ruffled white petti, and Mea did the accessories. Kakera also lent me her Miku wig.

Yay for team effort cosplays! The best part was burning, tearing, and splattering the dress with blood.

But isn't it dangerous? I'd worry about so much. Whether the fumes were poisonous, or perhaps I'd catch the whole house on fire. Stuff like that xD

nice photography really makes these look so nice to.... Some of the ones I have seen that an awesome photog was used adds to it looking authentic.

Thanks! It's like fine dining. Pairing the proper wine to go with the meal always augments the experience. I like to have great photography + setting to complement the outfit.

Yeah. I got over the "But I just finished sewing this and now I have to rip it apart?" sentiment within a few minutes. It's easier to make a costume knowing I will destroy it. I can't do any of that "trash the dress" stuff.
