If you want to refine your details a little, check out the Normandy from Mass Effect. It has a similar shape

Thanks Larry! Actually, I got this from (the OLD) Battlestar Gallactica ship, and speedboats. The things you are referring too helped me as well, organic ships we see these days. Much fun!
