Seriously I played the first version of SF2 in arcade, I spend lots of money renting the game when it came from SNES when I was a kid, so... God, I'm old.

No doubt, specially in the start of fighting games era, when most of the fighting games was really bad. And ironicly lots of people played them. Pit Fighter for example. The funniest part was watch other people almost crasching the arcade's machine trying to do a simple hadouken in SF1. XD
If you ever played SF1 you probably know, how hard is make a special move.
