Wonder what that cake's made of, would Roe people eat cake with meat in it? Or have the adapted to eating sugars as well... Hm, always wondered about what the food of Roe is like

and to answer your question: starches and sugars are digestable for everyone so they all can enjoy freied chips [even if not necesraily the meat that comes with it]

Most of them are straightforward with exceptions of course, to list a few:
birds can't taste spicy[hot], like, at all. they don't have the receptors for it
similarly felines can't taste sweet
fishes can taste with their whiskers
some might be allergic or overly addictive to certain spices, gotta research it
also immammals have a hard time digesting dairy

I suppose there's the term 'cat's tongue', which means one's tongue is incredibly sensitive to spicy things so cat's could be really sensitive to spices?
