Unlike the first Krone game, Krone Beta incorporates the need for stealth in battle. When faced with a far superior opponent, it is essential to take them by surprise to get in 7 seconds of defenseless attack opportunities. Chess is a naturell, a being from the planet Betados that lives among nature and uses far less advanced technology. Their forms of technology are similar to the kind we had in the early 2000s. Tube TVs, video tapes, N64 video games, large cameras, and simple cell phones.

The other half of the world is ruled by the technofools, people who live in a world of highly advanced technology. Every task no matter what the type was most likely done with technology. Listening to books instead of reading them, shapeshifting clothes, robot operated kitchens, and so much more! It's pretty similar to the world of Wall-e.

Each side sees the other as savage freaks. Disagreements about what life is all about.
