wow.. What an a piece full of subtle details, supreme composition, and great concept perfectly executed!

I like how, in small view, the texture of the dried material on her flesh gives the impression of cracked paint on a canvas, such that you can believe you're looking at a painting. I think the quality of light, classic and elegantly executed, adds to the effect. Add to this the surreal subject and the stunning, bold shapes, and there is something very like a painting in it. Lovely work, excellently brought to life.
