XD well kudos to you for coming up with a good name like that!
My mother has a tortie who's got a face like a 50/50 split- half of it's solid black, and the other half (a perfect line down the middle!) is the tan splotched color- throughout her body she has tan flakes here and there, so I named her Pepper when my mom got her (she needed a name). Mother asks why Pepper... because she reminded me of salt and pepper! (and perhaps salt n pepper on a black background really XD)

Except my puppy lol I named him Moose and other than the fact that he looked a lot like a Bernese Mountain Dog as a puppy (just short short fur), I really don't know why I called him Moose... kind of just 'happened'.
The other dog got her name Jewels because of her eyes (the bright blue husky eyes)
