Description
Minos was king of Crete, he had a wife Pasiphaë. She did some `nasty things` with the bull, so she bore the Minotaur, a creature with a man's body but a bull's head ...Minos arranged to sacrifice young men and women to the flesh-eating Minotaur by shutting them into the Labyrinth, where they would wander, hopelessly lost, until the Minotaur caught and devoured them ...

his eyes are very intense. you got the shadow perfectly, especially with the arm.
i'd have loved to see a tad more of his left eye, but it doesn't flaw the pic in the slightest.

Out of my field of expertise, this picture is astounding.
The idea is great, because even though your facial disguise means "I'm the minotaur", the name given to the deviation is "Minos".
So it's like playing the role of both "Guilty" and "Scapegoat".
The embodiment of a creature doomed by its own reputation.

This actually took me a minute to see that that was a man. I love how the lighting plays with his hands and makes you have to stare for a second. I can see so many picture when I look at it.

posaidon or how you call him, the god of the sea transformed into a bull and got together with pasiphae, she actually did nasty things with a god, not with a bull, plus most of the children of gods had defects, (see Pan, hefestus etc).

I do not knowe anything about this ... this white bull was a sacrifice to Poseidon, but "... Minos admired it so much that he decided to keep it, and sacrificed a different one from his herd instead. This unwise decision annoyed Poseidon, who avenged the insult by causing queen Pasiphaë to fall madly in love with the white bull ... "

thats the bad thing, you hear myths altered, donno why, i've heard diferent versions for arachnee (the myth of the creation of the spider) narcissos, echo, and other i dont know the english word for them

he is Minos, 'almost' the father for Minotaur ... he have a problem, how he can hide 'this evidence' of the shame to the royal family... he base his head on the hand an think hard ... in this pose he looks like his 'problem' ..................... far association of my thoughts ...

Doskonale ujecie, chociaz dlon sprawia nienaturalne wrazenie, moze przez ten schowany maly palec. Oswietlenie srodkowej czesci dloni mogloby byc albo jeszcze bardziej "plaskie" (puscic w czern), albo wrecz przeciwnie - pojsc w 3d i wydobyc jeszcze bardziej sciegna.
Ale poza tym rewelacyjny pomysl i realizacja, wspomnienie mitologii i ten blysk w oczach... Bardzo przykuwa uwage. Gratulacje.
