Another commission finished! This was quite the combo critter, an anthro tiger/coyote/reptile/elf for DJ VioletViolence.He picked a pose and requested the character be standing in an evening meadow, and I thought that since he's so contrasty in pattern and so menacing in design it would be interesting to make the setting very fresh, calm, peaceful and springlike. I quite enjoyed painting all that dense fur and the handsome black scales, especially since I haven't painted anything like this in a long time.

We have the most amazing sunsets here, they're very inspiring. I suppose the sunrises are nice too, but for all I know the sun suddenly appears in the middle of the sky every day.
