great photo and great title
i love the contrast between the office walls and the dak windows.. for me it adds to the darkness of the subject - you couldn;t have got a model to pose this shot as well as he has - he really does look well and truely stuck in the rat race, as you say moving from one void to another. I think the thing is although we all have to have our routines, he looks fed up with his routine.
I would quite happily put this up in my study - a great piece of art!!

nicely caught. kinda like a hunter, with a camera. maybe you should bring a rifle next time? lol. he would look pretty on your wall. stuffed and mounted.

Excellent. I like the over-exposure here, I don't think it would have worked any other way.

I wasn't trying to offend your work. I was just pointing out really minor things. I know you didn't specify advanced critiques on this pic, but its eye-catching.. good luck if you go back out to shoot.

What is life but daily steps. We walk through life determined and concentrating on the direction we are going. Leaving behind rooms and windows and doorways of our tasks, each fading as time goes on and yet exists and echos in the lifes of others forever....
BTW nice photo...

I was one who hated routine.. but recently I find that routine is much more important than we "artists" tend to think.. after all we breathe routinely, we eat routinely, we even need to love routinely. Daily routine is good for us.. It recharges us if it is used correctly. It gives us energy and inspiration and ability to do great things!

I dig it. I really like the high contrast, and I love that you retained a lot of detail in it instead of letting the intense light white everything out. Great composition, too. It seems more like a really nice chance photograph, like you were at the right place and time to capture it. Like the decisive moment in reportage photography. Solid.
