I swear the creators overdosed on Indiana Jones . . .All hail Golden Sun! For all of you who've played, I have two words: Altin mines!
For those of you who haven't played, GS is a two-part RPG for the gameboy advance. The main cast of the first game are four teens with elemental psyenergy (basically magic that can only be seen by other ppl who use it). They are basically as follows:
Issac: main character, silent dude with scarf
Garet: best friend, spike-haired
Ivan: a telepath, the short one
Mia: the Healer, the only girly-girl in the games
Anyway, Force is a psyenergy that can be equipped to any member of the party that allows you to strike distant objects.
Half-way thru the game, the above scene occurs (sans dialogue). It's possibly the most amusing scene in the game.
Other notes:
~Issac and Garet watched a massive boulder fall on their town in the first five minutes of the game.
~Iris is a summons/goddess in the second game.
Golden Sun, Issac, Garet, Ivan, Mia, psyenergy, Force, and the Altin mines belong to Nintendo and Camalot. I only own the games.

I actually gave Ivan force, because I felt like he should have it, since that whole sidequest was started by Mind Read, which is Ivan's power. However, I didn't do that quest until later, so it was still Garet's fault.Β

XD Nice. Garet is such an idiot, but that's why I love him. Only problem is his hair is to friggin' hard to draw (or at least I can't draw it...)

I gave it to Ivan, because I felt like that should have been his quest. I imagine that if it were an anime, that episode would have Ivan going solo through those trial caves and getting the Force Orb, all while interspersed with flashbacks about his past and stuff. It would be glorious.

Coincedentally, Altin Mines way favorite spot. I liked how they had the living statues, which they themselves were like fighting Tret again (in my opinion; Tret was too easy) and then they had the boss statue o3o not to mention, the thing were you have to ride in the mining carts was fun ^^

Lol I LOVE this! Golden Sun is an awesome game and I always appretiate it when someone makes a comic scene of it! The script is a little hard to read though. Other than that, it was hilarious!

i remember Altin.... that was a fun place to wander.... i think i Laughed so hard i couldn't breathe for five minutes the first time i saw that cutscene... Kudos!

Oh man this scene was epic xD I loved this game so much(played it 5 times Γ.ΓΆ I even killed the last boss on the secret island you can get to, when you ride on the final tornado thingie in the desert when I played it the fifth time^^) I was really obsessed with Golden Sun and I think I still am

So, when I first played through the game, I somehow utterly missed the Orb of Force. Soo, when it came to this scene, it was GARET who KICKED the freaking log and CAUSED the darn boulder to chase them down! So, good portraying! ^_^

May be a bit late, but I guess it never hurts to get more positive recognition This really goes with the whole unspoken intamacy that circulates between both the plot and the working cast. Well captured.
