Finally!I abhor the final painting. The colours are awful. But I had to upload it anyway. I hope someone likes it. xDDD
And her skin isn't supposed to be THAT dark. Oh well, I can always say she's been sunbathing in Qarth.

What's the problem with the colours? I think you nailed it perfectly. Plus, everytime I see Dany with purple eyes, it's an instant favourite for me.

I'd say you're too hard on yourself. The eyes and hair are great, I really like them. The eyebrows are a bit darkish for her, but other than that, it's a good painting.
