Description Okay, to put it, in short, this meme is not only made for fun like my shipping memes. This meme is made for sharing my own impressions of the fictional characters and to finally tell you who of the fictional characters are my favorite. No, you won't see much of the animated characters, because in general, the characters from live action movies and TV-shows made a bigger impression on me, unlike their animated colleagues, and truth be told, there are a couple or three animated characters which I love and who really left the traces in my own mind. So despite the famous rule "Ladies goes first!", I decided to start with Gentlemen.

Not for you: In this meme, I didn't divide the characters between heroes and villains like the most of the DA users loves to do, so in this list, you can see both villains and heroes in the same list.

Alright, I hope I made it clear. Let's move on.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 10

Hank Hill from "The King of The Hill" TV-show. The Voice Actor - Mike Judge.

Perhaps this character became my favorite animated character ever. What I like about him the most is this character's optimism and his love of one's work, his love for his family, and many other aspects that distinguish Hank Hill from many different characters presented in the movies. Mike Judge, the creator of "King of the Hill", perhaps is the most talented satirist of the United States. Unlike the most of the American animators like Seth McFarlane (The Family Guy and The American Dad), Matt Groening (The Simpsons and Futurama), Trey Parker and Matt Stone (South Park), Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty), and many other animated showrunners, Mike Judge chose the heaviest way of creating the satirical animated TV-Show, that is without using the toilet humor, loved by the American audience, and developing the humour of "The King of the Hill" with the help of the smart dialogue, realistic situations that almost none different from what might happen in real life, and unlike in the shows like "South Park", "The Simpsons", "Spongebob", "Futurama", and almost every single animated TV-show, "The King of the Hill" leaves the success of the main characters untouchable and unstoppable.

And Hand Hill is on the top of that. He's not close to the stupid fools like Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin, and not a failed loser like Philip Jay Fry of Futurama, and he's not a robot-alcoholic Bender from the same Futurama. This is one of the few cases when an animated character does not hope for the luck and does not expect a miracle to happen for his whole life will be fine. Hank Hill is a very wise, intelligent and strong person, both as a character and physically. He can always give valuable advice, and help his dear people get out of the difficult situation, why not it. He has a very nice voice (The character was voiced by Mike Judge himself), his speeches really resembling the real human dialogues and the situations he and his friends get into, in many ways are reminiscent of what can happen to us in real life. Unlike 90 percent of all modern male characters, Hank Hill does not cause disgust and vice versa, it causes great respect due to his intelligence and his adequate perception of reality. An exemplary family man, a loving husband, a good father, a loyal friend, and a jack of all trades, Hank Hill takes the honorary tenth place in my list of my most favorite male characters of all time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 9

T-1000 from the Terminator 2: The Judgement Day. The Actor - Robert Patrick.

Oh, boy. For the first time I've watched the Terminator 2 in the year 1995, and you won't believe how many bricks I shit because of the fear that caused by this character. This look of a killer who won't stop before anything to accomplish the job given by his creator Skynet forever stuck in my mind as one of my biggest childhood fears. T-1000 is a perfect example of a battle robot, and, perhaps, this is the best battle robot ever made ever, thanks to his abilities to change his appearance, his free will, his ability to assimilate with the local population. Hell, he chose the Police as his additional cover what gives him +1000 scores for clouding the people's mind. He will not stop at anything, he will never regret you and all that he needs is to kill you no matter what. If you stand in his way, then your days are numbered. With just a few dialogues, this Robot Assasin was given a place on the list of the most charismatic characters of all time. And his place out there is very much understandable. Every time when he opened his mouth he always gives a catchy phrase, even if it is a regular phrase like "Have you seen this boy?". Robert Patrick played his role brilliantly and gave the world one of the most terrible villains of all time.

Nice bike!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 8

Daryl Dixon from "The Walking Dead" TV-Show. The Actor - Norman Reedus.

Calm the fuck down Daryl haters. I know that you got annoyed by Daryl fangirls, but let's just face the facts that this character is one of the biggest badasses on TV today. He have normal attitude close to the real-life human beings, he has nice character traits that distinguish him from the rest of the TWD's cast, the most of the time this character is 100% laconic, but when he speaks, it might happen to be the biggest catchy phrase from the TV-show. Daryl never stands on ceremony in the face of a dangerous threat and, unlike the protagonist of the television series, Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon is more determined and punctual, which creates a certain thread through which this character can empathize. I agree with some dissatisfied people who believe that Daryl is stealing too much screen time, but I also think that you will agree that this character adequately complements the "Walking Dead" TV-universe. He perfectly suits the post-apocalyptic setting and perfectly fulfills his role as a badass.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 7

Keyser Soze from "The Usual Suspects" movie. The Actor (SPOILER ALERT!!!!!) - Kevin Spacey.

Brian Singer, perhaps, didn't even know that when creating the movie, he also created one of the most brilliant and smartest criminals of all times. Throughout the entire movie, we've never seen Keyser himself and we can only see and hear the people's fear when only his name one mentioned in the dialogue. Thanks to these details our imagination draws the picture of Keyser as a total unstoppable criminal badass who can kill anyone who will stand in his way. And in the movie's finale... wait... I think you better need to watch the movie itself to see what I mean. Kevin Spacey played one of his best roles ever and even got an Oscar as the best supporting actor in 1995. His character improvises improperly during an interrogation in the police station, and perfectly powder the brains of the cop, thereby leading him to a false track. His charisma and charm do not know the boundaries, and his mind and improvisation can be compared only with the most ingenious criminal minds in the cinema. The Puppetmaster Kaiser Soze takes 7th place in my list of the most beloved male characters of all time.

"The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And like that... he's gone."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 6

Blade from "Blade" movie. The actor - Wesley Snipes.

The first successful film from Marvel Comics, which began a gradual wave of flooding of cinemas with Marvel movies, was the 1998 movie Blade, where the role of the protagonist was performed by Wesley Snipes. This is one of the perfect examples of the live action movies where the character himself doesn't give a fuck. The Vampire Hunter, the Daywalker, was one of the biggest badasses of the 90th and still one of the biggest badasses ever made ever. He had clear goals, he has awesome antics which is literally singled him out of many fictional characters of Marvel Universe, and, frankly, Blade can take himself seriously. Unlike many other Marvel characters, Blade knows how to control his sense of humor. He jokes only when it's really needed, whereas the most of the time, he takes things really serious still trying to be ironic for the most of the time. What makes me love this character more is the fact that Wesley Snipes performed all these tricks and fight scenes himself. For those of you who didn't know, Wesley is the master of martial arts and he very easily performed all the choreography in the movie. Thanks to this it gives this character more and more things to develop and to go. I really wish him to return back into the role of Blade one of these days.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 5

El Indio from "For a Few Dollars More". The actor - Gian Maria Volonte.

The fifth place I decided to leave for the main antagonist of Sergio Leone's epic masterpiece "For a Few Dollars More". Fantastically played by an Italian Maestro of Acting Gian Maria Volonte, El Indio appeared to be one of the most controversial characters in the entire history of cinema. During the movie "For a Few Dollars More", the character is always portrayed as a pure psycho with no heart at all. All he cares about is his own weight among his criminal colleagues and, of course, the money. However, the charisma and the charm of his are so endlessly charming, memorable and unforgettable, that it's impossible not to fell in love with this character. This ruthless bandit is just unstoppable. The speeches of his are full of cynicism and hypocrisy, like the one in the church. He's ready to leave his mates behind for gaining more profit and ready to sacrifice their lives for his own benefit. One of the perfect images of the criminals ever. The charisma and charm of Gian Maria Volonte certainly improved El Indio's сharacter and proves the proverb that says that Italian men are the most charismatic men in the world.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 4

Rick Deckard from "Blade Runner". The actor - Harrison Ford.

The Bladerunner cop from the iconic 1982 movie I conider as the best role of Harrison Ford. Here he showed us what his acting skills are, which evolved into the best acting performance of this very actor. The character of his is a classical example of noir detective transfered into the far far away future and there he merged with the whole surroundings perfectly. The character's journey from the beginning of the movie until the very finale made is highly questionable and inordinary, and, of course causes a lots of issues, like... does he doing the rigth thing by killing the replicants? Does these robots have a right to live and prosper like all the people around? Why Roy Batty saved his life instead of dropping him down to the abyss? Rick Deckard starts doubting in his job, and later escapes somewhere far away from the whole society and police to try and live his peaceful life. The seriousness and noirness of the character brought him that high, and, of course the fact that Harrison Ford played such a serious character for the first time in his life.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 3

Doctor Robert Ford from "Westworld". The actor - Anthony Hopkins.

So, long before the season 2 premiere, long before the Westrold TV-series turned out to be a generic and pretencious TV-show, there was actually great television season one of the Westworld, which made the whole world of TV to twist. Brilliant and magnifficent performance of a God Amongst Men - Sir Anthony Hopkins - on of the TOP 1 greatest actors of all time - nailed the show and made us watching it over and over. Every time Doctor Robert Ford was on screen the viewers' eyes attached to the TV-screen and were mostly attracted to him. The character of Doctor Ford is infinitely charming, insidious, cunning, clever, and you couldn't say it till even now if Doctor Ford was a bad guy, or a good guy. If his plan was to free the hosts from the whole violence within the park, or if he wanted to elliminate the board to take the full control of the park?

The second season was mainly disappointing. The creators of the show have lost their sense of proportion, and made it all look rubbish and imcompetent. However, when Doctor Ford came back, it all again looked better and actually making sense. At least that's what I thought when Anthony Hopkins was on screen, after all when he's on screen everything looks completely fine, does it? Despite the season 2 turning out to be an utter garbage, season 1 is still in my memory as one of the best TV-shows of all times, and I am happy that Doctor Ford was the part of this magnifficent first season. His endless charisma nailed the season 1, and almost saved the season 2, unfortunately not all of it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 2

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Man With No Name from Sergio Leone's "Dollar's Thrilogy". The actor - Clint Eastwood.

The character I have met in my early teen age, which later appeared to be one of the best movie characters of all times to me. The cruel, laconic, selfcentered, does everything to survive in the cruel era of post Civil War world in USA. He always knows what he wants, just like he always knows where to go, and what to do in a situation like his. The Man With No Name is a definition of badass even today. He looks much fresher and realistic compared to the modern fitional characters, and always pleasing the audience's eyes when he's on screen. Just think of it. His videos on Youtube have from 5 to 20 million views without any hype. Why? Because people genuenly love this chracter, and wants him to continue his exsistance forever. The Man with No Name goes through all the seven hells and continues his journey, facing the danger without even a single hint of fear in his eyes, and if something goes wrong, he has a revolver with six cartridges all of which always hits the target. If you anger him he just aims his gun at you and says you to count till ten before he pulls the trigger. And he will NOT regret of anything he's done, because he did what is better for HIMSELF.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Number 1

Colonel Douglas Mortimer from "For a Few Dollars More". The actor - Lee Van Cleef

The main charater of "For a Few Dollars More" movie, and the best part of the movie so far. The unstoppable, cruel, smart, expirienced, and charismatic aged bounty hunter, who is famous around the whole Wild West for his excelent shooting skills, and the stunning performance of his job. Only one look on his face makes people shiver and changing their minds. And the bandits are shivering from fear when they hear his name, or see what he's capable of. Even The Man With No Name who tried to cross his path, couldn't help but join Colonel Mortimer, as he had no other choice. He's perfectly informed his goals and knows how to reach them faster. Dead or Alive, but the're going with him.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, though, mabe a while later, but I actually managed to finish this whole meme's description to tell you why I exactly like the character. I was planning on making my favorite top 10 female leads in the animation and the live action movies, however, as you see I couldn't find the time to accomplish this meme fast. And as you may noticed my top ten favorite characters includs only three heroes out of all ten. Hank Hill is just an ordinary human being, so he cannot be considered as a hero or a villain. T-1000, Keyser Soze, El Indio, and Dr. Robert Ford are more of a villainous types, and Colonel Douglas Mortimer and the Man With No Name are an antiheroes.

That's due to the fact the I prefer more decisive and complexed characters in media, and not the achitypical good and bad type of characters. They're much closer to the human's nature. As we all know, we - the humans - always doing things which is highly controversial and causing a lots of issues. We're always capable of doing both good and bad things in our life, and it is only for us to decide what kind of path we chose for the way of our life.

This is Vic Andersen - the biggest evil on Deviant Art. Fuck you all!
