he has many names; Golden Freddy, Fredbear, but in my fanfiction, he prefer the name Goldie, as it was the children who gave him that name. Goldie is the oldest of the animatronics, and works as the voice of wisdom along with Spring in the family. however, even with his age, Goldie has never been afraid making a little fun with the youngsters, although they probably more see it as a parental embarrassment. Goldie is older brother to Freddy, but he do also see Chica, Foxy and Bonnie as his siblings and Spring as his closets friend.After finally being reunited with his family again after years of separation, Goldie promised himself of no one will ever separate him from his family ever again and will do everything in his power to protect them from harm.
No one knows how he got the ability, but ever since returning back to his family. Goldie have the powers of teleportation and make the habit appearing and disappearing at the most strange occasions.
Goldie somehow knows how to communicate through hand signing and back before the upgrade, he taught Spring how to use it as communication, and they taught the hand signing language to Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and Foxy when they joined the family and that became their main way to speak in the former location. after the upgrade, they only uses the signing if have to speak over a long distance.
Goldie's robotic human shape is mainly used when humans wants one from the management right away and if no one else can do it. he calls himself Gold in this form and does not hesitate make jokes about it, much to Freddy's big annoyance.
before he was Goldie, his name was Calam Gothope. an employee at the Fredbear Family Diner and the one who wore the Golden Freddy suit, that until it killed him. but before that, he was a lone father to a daughter who was deaf, so he learned sign language so he could communicate with her better. as Calam's soul is inside Goldie, the animatronic has all his traits, except from his memories. Goldie has no idea that when he died as Calam, he left a daughter behind.
