I have always made in my story that my pokesona's Pidgeot nicknamed Keen is much larger than his species. because of that, Keen is Danica's main source of flight and Keen pride himself for being that.Danica bought a special made saddle for Keen in Goldenrod City, one that makes flight comfortable for Keen and safer for her.
Blaze, Danica's starter pokemon is best friends with Keen and although his once small friend has evolved into a huge bird, their friendship hasn't changed much.
Danica belongs to me
Pidgeot and Quilava to Gamefreak

There's also this bit in LGPE where your pokemon can be up to 1.4x size! Now I'd bet that that's the reason this Pidgeot (Keen?) is so big in the first place (definitely bigger than 1.4x) but I don't know. But hey, Mega Pidgeot is 2.2m, so that times 1.4 is 3.08m, and Mega Keen would be that tall at minimum!
Yeah screw doorways, Keen will be hitting his head on lots of ceilings, and may even be hitting his back on a few.
Would be pretty funny to see!
And that's if the LGPE size increase doesn't count!

I got Keen's big size from the anime, I remember an episode where I saw a huge Pidgeot. I think it was owned by Falkner but I'm unsure as it is ages I last saw the series. all I wanted when I gave Keen this size that he would be able to carry me.
XD good thing Keen is a 100% outdoor bird, he does not like tight spaces

This? Actually, for Pidgeot in the anime, that's not even close to how big it can get.

if my Keen ever mega evolve I think he only will get slightly bigger, but defiantly a lot stronger
