Here is my poster for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! For this I concentrated only on the two main heroes of the story Link & Zelda, and have created a real atmosphere of chaos around them as the enemies come out under the night of the Blood Moon. I really loved drawing all the enemies; drawing those bokoblins in unusual context was a real thrill! I went for a really minimal colour scheme of just 4 colours as well to give it a really pop art feel.Related content

Your style is amazing ! It's always a beautiful mess, but you put every element of the game and it's really fun to look for each of them. I don't know why, but this one reminds me of Okami... Probably the red-white tones ahah.

Very cool art style!
I like the combo - red, black and white. This way the main characters look more inocent and the bad guys has more red colors, make them evil. Its very smart and cool way to draw.

It was certainly difficult trying to make sure the viewer got at least a semblance of what was going on, I hope for Zelda fans it becomes a sort of game of finding characters and narratives. I read a comment below where you mentioned that you finished it in Illustrator - mad props for that, I wouldn't have the patience for it. Illustrator is definitely one of my weak points.

Thanks a bunch, yeah Illustrator can certainly be a difficult one, I don't know why Adobe just copy and paste the UI from Photoshop but with vectors just so it would be easier for everyone!

Yeah I know, for me if your making t shirts or posters then screen prints are the way to go. And i'm always a believer that restricting yourself helps creativity, its why I always hand draw everything first rather than drawing in the computer, so those little human errors come through.

Once I read that you won't draw perfectly on the computer if you don't draw well enough on a paper. I agree with that.

Yeah i;m inclined to agree, I find it easier to draw free hand on paper than straight on the wacom tablet, but I think it may be because i've always trained and practice as a traditional artist rather than a digital one. I've seen countless digital artists who are great producing art using a computer, but can't draw a stick figure in a bush on a piece of paper. It's a funny one, the phrase 'styles make fights' comes to mind!Β Β

I recall that I managed to produce some things on my tablet a few years ago.
Right now, I feel I'm a bit rusty. I need to make more stuff for myself before releasing them around here. Which is a shame, probably I'll be uploading new stuff once or twice a month.

Well i would say do and create stuff that makes you happy at a rate your comfortable with! The worst thing is when you get completely burned out as it's so hard to capture that artistic spark again. You'll get there though i'm sure of it!Β Β
