Orochi, the Eight Headed Serpent

The Naga race was well known in Valhalla as one of the most dangerous species alive. They possessed a half human, half snake liked shape and a cunning, dangerous wit. However, the curse bestowed on the Nagas by the Ancient Ones, perhaps to enforce the balance for the land, was that all Naga-borne would be female. As the result, their reproduction had been cruelly declined since.

Nagas did not give up on their existence, and found any method to lure males from other species who were compatible with them to prevent extinction. Fortunately for them, there was a large population of another species who shared half of their blood, which potentially helped them to healthily reproduce through centuries - humans. Many Nagas took on the human-form more frequently and accurately in order to attract human males. As the result, many tales were told by the humans on the terrific beings who tricked them and drained their essence until they died.

Humans, particularly the female warriors, who volunteered to eliminate the Nagas for vengeance of their dead husbands, and for the future of mankind. During the war, many Nagas were killed due to their lack of manpower comparing to the human's force. At the most critical moment of their entire race, eight most powerful Nagas sacrificed themselves to merge their blood together through an ancient art developed by their kinds. A powerful green poisonous smog blasts out the entire battlefield, killing countless of humans and Nagas alike. Those who survived, before their dead in mere seconds after, managed to take a glimpse at the legendary eight headed Naga - Orochi.
