Description In 1947, the Greens Peak Coal Company, a coal company that connected with the K&A at Winslow Junction (a small community a couple of miles west of Sheldon, North Carolina), bought a pair of ex-Union Pacific 0-6-0s (#4473 and #4476) to replace a pair of ex-Southern Railway G class 2-8-0s. These locomotives weren't renumbered but were re-lettered for their new employer. They served the coal company switching hopper cars around the coal yard until they were replaced by diesels in 1964.
