This started out as just a sketch to figure out what I wanted to do with a reboot of Inspector Gadget visually. Then, I just got rolling and all this came out.I basically wanted to do a continuation of the story, but more mature, a little grittier, but still somewhat lighthearted, too.
Penny's in college now and doing P.I. work for extra cash. Brain, as designed here, is a more realistic golden retriever. The most intelligent dog in the known universe. I stole an idea from UP and gave him a talking collar. He still helps Penny on her assignments as her spy/assistant.
I had a mask design for Dr. Claw, but it was recommended I stick to tradition and keep him in the shadows except for his trademark claw.
There you go. Anybody want to try and color this??? Anybody?

I've started writing a dystopian alternate history in which doctor claw has taken over the world and the gang (PGB-Penny-Gadget-Brain) are the last remaining resistance fighters. Awesome inspiration. I'll try and find someone to colour this.

That's pretty friggin' awesome. I have an idea of drawing an older Penny as a kick-as detective, perhaps with her own gadgets. It's nice to see not all fan art depicting Penny is some weird pedophilic tickling stuff. Not that i'm against tickling - but ... as a fetish involving a girl who couldn't be older than 12...?
