Description My final assignment for this semester. surprised it came out a bit better than expected, since I had to rush it a tiny bit.

(was still layering colors in class, before the critique started lol)

took me a while to get the sketch idea down/composition luckily the coloring went faster than the sketching/inking.

all ends well, got an A on it.

Really great. Watercolor is very unforgiving, it takes an a truly talented person to make it work.

Well, I'm still liking the idea and the composition and color that you went for, the orange forest and ground helps your cool-colored band of heroes pop from the background, and you did great with the leader cheering his comrades forward. Though I have to agree with the others about the facial expressions, they look like a pretty tired or 'meh' bunch. And as always, greater shades of values would tremendously punch up the picture.

XD But overall, this is pretty cool and I'm rather glad I was not the only one rushing to finish my final before critique time lol *gets shot*

really nice use of watercolors here.
All the characters seem to have a very.... depressed look to them xD Depressed or tired. That's probably the only thing that doesn't seem to match up.

I have no idea why, but when I saw the bard, I immediately thought of the Sir Robin bit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Anyway, awesome picture. I especially love the badger.

I think you may have found your medium, I love this in watercolor. The characters are varied, and so alive. The Bard is great, as well as the others. Poor wizard-guy looks like he got up waaayy to early! It looks like it would be a great illustration for a book. I'd love to see moar epicness like this!
