It lives on... in your soul, etherialy, delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world and not just now, but throughout Time en memoriam, This "Collage" of sorts is the eternal quality of Beauty. His quote was spot on: "Beauty is Truth. Truth, Beauty. That is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know." —John Keats, English poet (1795-1821). Born on Halloween and living but a quarter of a century, he, along with Byron and Shelley, rewrote the second generation of Romantic Poetry. His eyes must have been like mine: I see so much beauty everywhere. I love the Beauty of a Woman —maybe more than another object of my ken (archaic: meaning sight or vision). Sometimes, and call me dramatic, but like a schoolchild, I am overwhelmed by beauty: Paintings, Poems, Peacocks and most of all People. Manmade things like Buildings... and then there are the works of God. The aesthetes used too make fun of Joyce Kilmer, a simple soldier who wrote a poem about a tree. But others who felt the same way insured that his name would be remembered to this day. -v
