Some comfort art featuring one of my favorite all lady unicorn couple.

Ever since they became best friends Marigold has had a crush on Moxie but never really knew how to express it.
Moxie was so focused on the posability of playing matchmaker for her bestie to notice Marigold's suddenly nervous and fidgetty behaviour.
Marigold contemplated what to do for what felt like ages, would she tell Moxie how he felt or just wait for it to pass? She feared that if she told Moxie and got rejected that it would negatively impact their friendship.

Despite her young age Love Letter was the first one to figure out that there was something going on and held a passionate speech about following ones heart. Inkwell was the second one to notice his sister was acting strange around her annoying friend and told her about how people always dissappoint you in the end and that love isn't all its hyped up to be. Marigold chose to listen to her little sister.

It was when Marigold and Moxie were at a concert that she built up enough courage to try and drop a hint. While listening to the band she reached out to hold Moxie's hand. If Moxie didn't react it would still be okay and if she pulled away Marigold could just laugh it off as a joke.
Moxie was a bit confused when she felt someone grab her hand but when she glanced over to her friend and saw her beet red face she knew exactly what was going on. She hadn't thought about Marigold in that way before but when faced with this subtle little gesture it just felt, right. So she gave Marigold's hand an approving squeeze and they've been sort of together ever since.

Tried out some new simpler drawing style, and lineart coloring. Where I only colored the insides of the lineart but kept the outer lines black.

Moxie is the daughter of Tempest and Trixie, Marigold is the daughter of Twilight and Sunburst.
