For the cat is cryptic, and close to strange things which men cannot see. He is the soul of antique Aegyptus, and bearer of tales from forgotten cities in Meroe and Ophir. He is the kin of the jungle’s lords, and heir to the secrets of hoary and sinister Africa. I reitirate all my praise from Dagon - with your three works on the topic, on my estimate, you are already on the front rank of Lovecraftian artists here (and may I say in the front rank generally, illustrations in Lovecraft's books very often fails to reach this standard), and from your other works generally exceedingly talented.

Superb, in the thumbnail view it looked like landscape art, qute a surprise then to see the full image. Well done, Lovecraft is one of my favorite authors, it was these shorts that I think made him in my eyes rather than the novelettas.
