Akhenaten (c.1370s BC-c. 1336 or 1334 BC)Also known as Amenhotep IV, was an Egyptian pharaoh reigning from c. 1353–1336 or 1351–1334 BC. Noted for introducing the monotheistic cult of Aten in place of egyptian polytheism, his rule was almost erased after his death.
