I grew up with Michael Keaton as Batman, but I will say that Christian Bale blew me away as Batman. The Jokers play well off of eachother. This is awesome. It's the collision of my childhood and my adulthood.

Amazing. I prefer Tim Burton's Batman films because they are so spectacular. The acting is great, the imagery is marvelous, the dark humor is very fitting, it takes itself seriously to and extent, it is extremely entertaining, and I could go on.

Great pic,while the DK movie was great,I have always had a deep nostalgic love for the 89 Batman flick,ever since I first saw it in theaters when it first came out. Ah,sweet bat-memories.

89' Batman. I thought Nickolson played a great Joker! Not that Ledger's wasn't good. I just liked Keaton's Batman better.

08 wins because Nickolson's joker sucked. And although keaton and bale both do great jobs as batman, keaton wins hands down.

Really, the 89 is one of my four fave movies. The Dark Knight was good, but it didn't have the same music and atmosphere. I also feel a lot if it's praise is mainly sympathy for Heath Ledger.

That's pretty much the same way I feel as well. Though I can't stand Bale as Batman, his voice just sounds ridiculous when speaking as him and most of the characters origins are completely inaccurate but I guess I'm just a guy who likes comic book movies that stick more closely to the source.
