As I read the headlines proclaiming gaming enthusiasts dead, saying I must be a racist, woman-hating nerd because of my race and gender, I can't help but think the people claiming to be against bullying, racism, and sexism sound an awful lot like racist sexist bullies. I am against corruption, I am against one-sided narratives, I am against censorship, I am against social engineering, I am for freedom of speech, I am for the free market, and I am for creative freedom. If what you see doesn't appeal to you, create something that does; don't seek to tear down the work of others or demand they make things in your image. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't get a voice because you're the wrong color or gender. Logic and facts are not hatred, being held accountable for your actions is not harassment, and equal opportunity is not the same as equal outcome.I drew this comic to illustrate that everyone should have a voice, no matter how much those in positions of power try to label you, shout you down, or bully you out of the conversation. Please feel free to share it and use it wherever you wish.

I love this comic so much. Everyone deserves a voice and those who wish to silence the voices of those who want to protect gaming are bullies.
I'm with you; I'm against corruption, one-sided narratives, censorship (to hell with the TPPA!), and social engineering. I'm also for freedom of speech and I will always fight for that no matter how low the enemies may strike.

I really love how you put DeadPool here. He's someone who can't die and yes he's a psycho but I've seen moments in the comics where he's the voice of reason.
Plus people who are upset about EVERYTHING. Like in your description and in the comment it's dumb why people are upset. Hell I'm anti-bullying, anti-racist, and a lot of things people would hate me for but I'm sure as hell not gonna attack back. They can't shut out the loudest voice of reason.

Some women like me love video games the way they are, I wish some random women believing they have whole authority to do so stop talking for my whole gender, when they really are just talking for themselves. I've got a friend who's received death-threats, rape-threats, and more, just because she's a girl who *dares* to venture an opinion on games. Beyond that, I've discovered that literally EVERYONE I work with, regardless of age, plays games. Gamers aren't a minority or a fringe or a besieged group of nerds, because gaming is mainstream, now. I just wish people would let the woman I love do it, without attacking her because she doesn't have any "boy parts". If "gamer" as an identity truly does die out it will be because a few stupid people kill it by trying to keep other people out.

This is funnier to me because, imo, the best written Deadpool comic was by known feminist Gail Simone, who helped make steps to bring awareness to DC that they needed to write better female characters.
