Absolutely love the black/white parallel between these two.
Rukia's zanpaku-to is considered one of the most beautiful in Soul Society, being completely white and of the ice element. It is called 'Sode no Shirayuki' and it is her shikai release.
Ichigo's bankai release compresses his zanpaku-to Zangetsu into a streamlined, completely black blade that allows him to use his incredible speed to its maximum effect.
And of course, I <3 IchigoxRukia and hope to see some of it soon. ^_^
