I have been drawing quite a few royal members, recently. Here is another. Behold her majesty, this is serious this time, Queen Kirakakash. Heh, try saying her name right the first time. I uploaded a line art of her previously.

Now, I noticed there were those among you who got confused between whether she had awoken from underground and turned the earth over, or she had landed and pushed the ground away from beneath her, which does not seem to make sense to me. The truth is, she is sitting on her 'throne'. Yeah, some throne that is. But, hey, I did not draw a full picture. Where she resides is deep down in the middle of her 493-strong colony. If that number seems small for a colony, remind yourself that these are not tiny ants. Anyway, below you will find more information on herself as well as her colony.

Kirakakash is by far the largest Pangdillo ever seen by Sector 1404 and stands at 100 feet tall and 95 feet wide. Add that in with her unusual pink coloration and she is impossible to miss or ignore for that matter. As Queen of her hive, she holds the biggest responsibility of all. Managing the entire hive, and reproducing. She is very rarely seen outside of her hive due to her constant reproduction. This is because she has numerous hive allies to protect and run errands for her. It would have to be a very serious matter for her majesty herself to have to emerge from her hive.

Kirakakash's hive currently consists of approximately 490 different individuals. Some, offspring of her own and others, outsiders seeking colonies. Her hive is also currently the largest ever recorded and houses the widest variety of Pangdillo species. Some, yet to be studied. Hive allies consist of Nymphs, Drones, Warriors, Runners, Predators, Praetorians, Ravagers, Carriers and of course, the King, known as Lazyrus. Below is basically the breakdown of the hive allies.

Nymphs are basically the larval stage of any hive ally. Babies, in other words. They are weak, blind and rely completely on existing hive allies to bring them sustenance, which is the milk of volunteering Praetorians. Seeing how Nymphs are the generic base of which all hive allies grow from, its very amazing as to how which type of hive allies Nymphs grow into. From what I understand is that Kirakakash is able to, somehow, psychologically, access the vast genetic database of her colony and tweak their evolution from there. Its one big mind fuck.

Drones are the basic hive ally and are also the most cost efficient. They are responsible for dragging prey to hungry hive allies or collecting prey for storage. Other hive allies can perform this task as well. They also create Hive Nodes which produce Hive Web, a repulsive substance that coats the interior of hives and nourishes the inhabitants by healing their injuries. Lost limbs regenerate, as well. Hive Web is also created when the Queen reproduces. Drones are ranged attackers, spitting acid at prey and enemies. However, if faced by an acid-resistant enemy such as an opposing hive's ally, they are forced to revert to their claws which do not deal out much damage whatsoever. Therefore, they are more likely to fall victim to such a threat.

Warriors are the hives heavy duty units. They are armored with thick chitinous armor which deflects most standard firearms and hardened dagger like claws for ripping apart enemies. Warriors are also known as 'zombies' because of their ability to revive after suffering from crippling battles. A Warrior will pass out after enduring heavy damage, such as limb loss, and would seem more dead than unconscious. After some time, the crippled Warrior will regain consciousness and simply crawl back to the hive and regenerate on Hive Web unless it is killed once again on the way. A Warrior is still very dangerous even when it is defeated because it spews acid all over the enemy when unconscious and once again, when killed, causing a lot of damage. Although, this ability does not activate if the Warrior was torched to death because fire so thoroughly bakes it, it basically gets reduced to a charred mass.

Runners are the hive's scouting and raiding units. They are the equivalent of a rabid cheetah, zooming around at high speeds, making themselves extremely hard targets to destroy. They are not very durable in battle due to their weak physical armor but they have incredible offensive strength which is highly unprecedented for a creature of it's size. Runners leap into enemies with such force they literally burst right through the target, instantly terminating any threat. If a particular target is somehow still active after the attack, they will rip into the target with sharp claws and purposely spit acid into the wounds. Runners are also armed with venomous spines along their body which secrete a sickening substance which nauseates enemies, making fighting really hard for them due to excessive vomiting. Runners are very weak against fire, but this does not mean they are rendered helpless. A Runner's vertebrae is lined with breakpoints which shatter from intense heat, causing the Runner to explode violently, wiping out surrounding enemies.

Predators are one of the hive's most powerful units. They are extremely resilient in battle. They are armored with armor that is coated by a special substance that extinguishes flames on contact, literally making them fireproof. This is why they greatly ignore fire wielding enemies. Another factor that makes these hive allies very dangerous is their ability to gain more strength each time they make a kill. Predators that have survived many battles would be very hard to destroy, indeed. These individuals are generally bigger and sport protuberances on their bodies. Predators also have the ability to naturally heal whether on Hive Web or not.

Praetorians are basically miniature versions of their royal leaders. They are commonly found within the hive guarding the King, Queen and Nymphs alongside Ravagers and Carriers. Praetorians also have the ability to transform into the hive's more advanced units such as the Ravager and Carrier. They can also transform into Kings or Queens if there are neither existing in the hive. There can only be one King and Queen at a time. A male Praetorian can transform into a Ravager at will or into a King. A female Praetorian can transform into a Carrier at will or into a Queen. This is how sometimes a destroyed hive can recover. All it takes is a single Praetorian to transform into a Queen. Then, all she needs to do is find a mate.

Ravagers are the hive's most powerful units and are a terrifying encounter in battle as they tower above most other hive allies. A Ravager has extremely hard and thick chitinous armor that deflects most weaponry and huge blades on it's arms capable of slashing through tank hulls. Saturation bombing still does not guarantee termination of Ravagers.

Carriers are the hive's transportation units. They are used to carry Nymphs beyond their usually limited roaming range. This will allow the hive to spread to further areas and conquer more territory. Carriers can carry six to twelve Nymphs at a time. They sport long protuberances on their backs which secrete a nourishing substance that saturates the Nymphs. Despite their large size, Carriers are not very durable in battle due to their lack of strong armor.
