uffdah! longest i've ever spent on a drawing, i'm pretty sure... i'm relatively happy with it though
way better in real life, of course. i don't have a scanner so i had to take a picture... some shading is now invisible/more dramatic than it was.
also, I noticed too late he has no whiskers. too lazy to fix XD
might be my birthday gift for my boyfriend C:
animals: 3/26!
time spent: 8 hours! maybe a little more even
size: ~14 x 14 inches
used: pencils (H, HB, 2B, a little 4B for the eyes), pink eraser, kneadable eraser, blending stump.

Nice! I love the texture of the fur but I think the proportion may be a bit off.

That face is gorgeous!! The eyes are very well done and the fur on the head is just so well done.
As for critique.. it's pretty obvious you put a lot more time into the head than the body. Not to say the body looks bad or anything, but I suggest putting as much care and love into the rest of the body as you did that beautiful face.
