Recently my boyfriend (finally) bought a 3DS and a copy of Omega Ruby and we've been playing Pokemon together. It's put me in a giant Pokemon kick and I've really been wanting to do portraits of my ideal party if I were able to have a team in real life. This is the first of seven that I intend to do.This is my Persian, Mojo. Ideally he'd be more of a traveling companion rather than a genuine battler, staying by my side rather than in a pokeball. His moveset reflects this. I imagine that I would've originally gotten him as a Meowth, gifted to me by my mom or dad as a pet, and when I began my journey he decided to tag along to look after me. He wears an Amulet Coin on his collar, paying remembrance towards the time when he was a Meowth. This also serves as a symbol of luck and somehow convinces battlers to give me more money!

Thank you! I wanted to take 'em and put my personal spin on how I see every individual pokemon. Instead of portraying Persian as simply a mountain lion I wanted to give him more of a domesticated appearance. However, I didn't want him to be a domesticated cat w/ an amulet on his head either, so I tried to match different parts of what was ideal to me. Overall I'm really happy with the result, especially in the face; I feel like it's a pretty cute combination of domesticated cat and mountain lion
I actually restarted my Alpha Sapphire game today! I'll admit though, I believe my favorite region is Kalos now (Kanto held the reigns for years, but X was too good for me :'D). I haven't really gotten far in my replay of the Hoenn region though bc I decided to complete the National Dex on my X game so I can get the shiny charm ;u; I've only got about 320 down so far though, so I've got a long way to go. Mind if I get your friend code? I'd appreciate having another safari to roam around in!

But totally, the thing you did with Mojo, I love the combination of styles and anatomies, I think you did a splendid job. And I love how it kind of looks like a professional portrait. Like you took your team to the city and spent the day getting nice photos taken, XD.

Bahaha, now THAT'S a cute idea! I appreciate that though, my graphic design teacher said that I was getting better at portrait style pieces too! Which is really great, because they're my favorite type of things to draw; no backgrounds xD
