Magnus was already in Shrouded-Vines ' garage planning to play his song when he heard Sex--Love--Chocolate 's transmission come in. Though there was static and he missed a few parts here and there, he could still hear the pain in his best friend's voice. He trusted Noah and all the others to be there for the one he loved so much. "Meekee.." was all he could manage as he clutched his vervain locket around his neck, "Altair.. We need to play my song and let my famelee know eet ees begineen."
Altair did as he was told, but was puzzled by all of it. In the years that he had known and been close to Magnus, he had never seem him crack so bad. He knew better than to ask questions when his friend was already emotional, so he just went about setting everything up so they could broadcast with a more powerful signal.

As Altair played the opening part on synth, Magnus took the time to address his family in California.
