I've been studying the details of this costume in the photos you've posted for more than two hours now.  It's a gorgeous, complicated design very clearly befitting of your online persona as "Violet Spider".

Starting from the ground upwards, you've chosen tall black heels that force the wearer to choose steps carefully and walk on your toes, but they are adorned with the girlish touch of matching black bows and soft pink trim.  Feet, legs and thighs are then squeezed into light-bending, brightly shined black latex that both a dominatrix (or a submissive) might wear. At the waist and hips, you've got a tiered, ruffled dress like a ballerina's tutu, sewn into a very tight underbust corset, which is laced up in the front so that no one can feign ignorance of what binds her to create her hourglass figure.  Above it, the curve-hugging bodice is flanked with puffy shoulders and a semi-sheer sleeves ending in a flare, shaped like something that could be found on a much more innocent dress worn by a story-book princess.  The sleeves are one of the few places we are allowed to see any part of the wearer's skin, where the costume shows any hint of the wearer's vulnerability. To balance that out, however, the opaque material is stitched with a spider pattern, perhaps suggesting a dangerously alluring but murderous black widow.  The latex gloves add color and cheer to an overwhelmingly oppressively black outfit, but, like surgical gloves, they also deny both her any object of her affection the simple human comfort and warmth of skin-on-skin contact.  At the neckline, you've created a lovely frilly collar of luxurious dark purple, offset by a jeweled spider above a teardrop gemstone.  Finally, you've chosen to wear dramatic, doll-like facial makeup, with heavy foundation/concealer that flattens your skin tone, dark eyeliner and mascara, tightly plucked, lined and controlled eyebrows (all adding to intentional artificiality) and deep purple lipstick.  Your face is then framed by an electrifying blue wig. All of this is accented by beautiful little white and purple tears, suggesting perhaps both grief and a literal tally of her victims.  I like to think that you intended to convey that the rigidly confined, controlled woman you've created with this costume is not free to express her sorrow, nor is she allowed to reach out and show others the horrors of her dark and troubled mind that compel her actions.  Instead, this character, like a kabuki theater actor, hides her vulnerability deep beneath a mask of emotion on her face.  She is a wonderfully alluring but also dangerously violent and tragically oppressed woman, demanding an audience's attention while simultaneously deserving cautious respect and sympathy.

What happened to this girl to make her this way?

Lovely work, Miss Volodina. Thank you again for sharing your talent with your followers online.

Пожалуйста!  I'm sorry I could not express my appreciation in Russian.  I can understand a little bit, but not enough to write anything complicated.

May I ask how long it took for you to create this costume?  It looks like it took weeks to make.

Wow, I am impressed!  You are very skilled with the material however, and you said you'd already been thinking this concept over.  I suppose I should not be surprised that you could make such a complex costume in a very short time once you've decided to work on it with all of your effort.   Thank you for the link, I did check out your blog post for the J-Rock Con.  Your friends are talented people, too (but you are the best)!  I hope to visit Moscow again someday when there is a convention like this going on.  There are so many talented artists in Moscow.
