Description I've seen many people complaining about Vanessa Doofenshmirtz not being actually Goth (heck, at first I didn't consider her Goth either, I saw her as simply wearing black). So here, out of boredom, I tried some more Gothic outfits on her. In any way, I like Vanessa as how she appears on the show, she doesn't need to change.

This version of Venessa on the left reminds me of the sister character of the protagonist of the Vampire Hunters. Funny story about the Vampire Hunters comic, I actually got the first volume for free when you can buy it at a bookstore for $9.99...

Well, I just chose fairly generic Goth style clothes, in contrast to her dark clothes in the show. I wouldn't be surprised if other characters have worn similar outfits.

She looks really good! The one on the right looks like how I dressed in my late high school days.

You're right that she's not hardcore goth. She's more of the subtle natural goth (no dyed hair or crazy make-up/piercings). That's pretty much how I am nowadays too. It's the way to be goth and professional at the same time.

Thanks! Funny, when I was drawing her, I thought she looked like you (or at least how you draw yourself).

She does look a lot like me. When I watched the show it was like looking in a mirror. My hair's longer and I'm a bit shorter, but pretty much everything else was spot on. When I draw myself I'm very close to real life. I'm stylized for the cartoon look and have fancier outfits in drawings, by why not?

Thanks. I guess the staff are some of the people who think that "moody, sarcastic teenager in dark clothes" equal Goth. It happens in a lot of recent shows (like Gwen in Total Drama Island).

Yes she does, but she looks good on pretty much everything, even in Candace's clothes.
