This is a very nice piece of work and a lovely collaboration of both your characters in a amusing and well presented form of work. The idea is good and the way you've approached it through the form of a photography is certainly something original and out of the box, what really sales it though is the animated display of both your characters as you huddle together for the photo whilst striking your vibrant poses. It has a natural feel about itself and it might be with the way you've put a lot of time in the characteristics of the two presented, you feel the enjoyment they had together by looking at it from the photos viewpoint and which that you were there two.
One problem that does feel the need to be mentioned is the anatomy of your character. The way her torso is presented compared to her waist, arms and head looks off balance. It's hard to say if she is learning foward to the another character, to an angle or away from the viewer? It might be how you've approached the shading or design but it does look out of balance and maybe something to think about.
