I'm not really sure what to say about this or exactly what I was trying to do. I just started playing around and... ended up with this. I like it for the most part but I know there are some things that could be improved so if you have any thoughts on it, feel free to share because I'm kinda stuck at the moment.

Chess: A recreational and competitive game for two players, sometimes known as Western or International chess to distinguish from its predecessors and variants. The current form came about in Southern Europe in the second half of the 15th century and evolved from similar older games of Indian origin, though some think it may have actually started in China.

My board, or my husbands I should say, is obviously not the classic board. It is made up of glass with painted white checks and Celtic knotwork around the border. The corner pieces are silver towers and the chess pieces are silver and gold dragons, wizards, riders and royalty.
