Because it's adorable and makes sense. He's a noble knight, she's a princess. They both have a strong sense of justice. They have sword fighting in common. A lot of people like height difference in their ships, and the species difference can add a bit of a "forbidden romance" aspect in some people's eyes.

Yeah. Lucina isn't related to Roy or Ike though (Lucina, through a long process, could marry someone in Ike's family line, but that would be the Morgan that comes from female Robin dating Priam, who is Ike's Descendent)

Yeah. Nothing for Roy though. I think there are two parts of fire Emblem that are separate from each other, and Roy is part of the other side or something.

Actually, Ike isn't related to them (It's common to see in older cartoons MArth saying that he wouldn't be in the same family line as that brute or something like that). Chrom and Lucina are the only descendents.

Also, you could make Robin's hair blue in the game.

I don't think she's paired with any of them officially. She can be paired with male Robin in one of the games though.
