View from Twin PeaksI waited many hours on top of Twin Peaks to take this picture of the city at Night. It was an amazing view over this wonderful city...but it was amazingly cold and windy

This really made me happy, but sad and depressed. As I had lived in the Bay Area for at least 11-12 years of my life I had to move one year and this was one of the last places I visited with my family before we moved.
I thank you for taking this photo.

Wow, I bet it brings back a lot of memories of the time when you lived in the Bay Area 
Twin Peaks is a great place...I don't want to say the greatest place in San Francisco, but definetly one of the most awesome ones. I came back every evening I've spent in S.F. but it was always rainy and you couldn't see a thing. Luckily, on the last day we've spent there it was sunny...and I had the chance to take this picture!

It really is one of the awesome ones, but it's too bad that a lot of the place has graffiti on it.
That's S.F for ya, always foggy or raining. XD It's great that you were able to get such a clear pic! You should go up there near Christmas time when it's dark. Market stree is all lit up and it's really beautiful~

It's just different to other big cities, especially to american cities. Of course it's still a city and I'd prefer the countryside, even though I currently live in Frankfurt.

It just feels different to NYC or L.A.
It's a rather compact city where it's no problem to walk from one side to the other and people seem to be just different. Don't ask me why, but it just feels this way!

I have this will to just travel and see the
world. But you've kinda gotta have a lot of money to do so.

For me as a German the U.S. were kind of cheap...
Of course it was an expensive holiday because we stayed 6 weeks and drove 11000miles with a rental car...but if you did the same here in Europe it would have been much more expensive!

Haha. I'd love to tour Europe though. I've only ever just barely
crossed the border into Canada. I've never sailed the seas or

By the way: A little example why especially Germany is more expensive: A liter of gas currently costs 1,60 Euro. For a gallon this would mean 7.90 US-$ !
