The yellow/greeny eyes are just a race thingie. And she lost her arm in an attack on her country by the opposing country in a war : )

So there is a whole country and a war. Interesting was this like an idea for a story that just kinda died out? Or is it new?

Yeah, it's two countries at was with each other because of different ideals and stuff. It was going to be a little like a battle between sci-fi and fantasy essentially. Since one was magicy and the other relied on technology for their power.
It was a comic originally, but I didn't really have the motivation for drawing all the pictures for it, I guess XD

Makes sense about the comic. Also, it kinda sounds like this one series, but a little different. One side had like animal technology and the other had more machine type technology.

Umm.... Fike I forget... It's by Scott Westerfield though so of course it's an awesome book.

yeah. THey hadn't turned out as well as I hoped but they were still edible which is definitely a plus.
I also made this one Italian bread something. It's really thick though and doesn't have a lot of taste...

It's like this Italian household bread. I didn't have any molasses so that's probably why it was lacking flavor. I'd normally be making more desserty breads but I have no eggs in my house...

Mine's super dark brown, but it's got faded reddish streaks in, so it looks a little orange sometimes XD

Wow that's like my hair most days. Why could we have not lived in the 80s in America. At least then having poofy hair was the fashion... I've seen my mom's yearbook. It's terrifying the height some hair got.

I thought that too! We'd have been naturally fashionable with our hair, although crimped hair is coming back over here. Which isn't exactly poofy, but it's a start?

When I was little I had it in my head that to be pretty I had to be red haired with green eyes..... My hair sadly had to get dyed brown..... It's kinda coming back though.
Lucky, here everyone flat irons their hair. Like how in the morning do people have 30+ minutes to make-up, straighten hair, etc.?

I didn't think about that much, until I got to secondary school and suddenly it was all 'straight hair!' everywhere. And then the emo phase where I tried to pretend that could actually work XD
I know right! I'd rather just sleep in a while longer, which is the real reason I rarely wear make-up to school or bother doing much with my hair

The last five minutes before I go to school is where my mom painfully rips a brush through my fro. Then I braid it. End of story.
I actually straightened my hair and weird people.... It probably had to do with me not wearing glasses too though.

I was silly and got loads of high up layers put in, so when I put it in a plait it only lasts about half an hour max before it comes out :c

Mine has long layers, yet it's falling out of braids too. But not as quick as yours.
It's weird. I like my straight hair but poofy always feels better. I guess cause it's not draped around my neck.

Actually, oddly enough, when I had it in a braid on monday, I wanted it to fall out quickly since I was being a zombie, but it didn't >:T
