lol Capcom said that they dressed Jill like that ON PURPOSELY so that the game will attract more male gamers(that explains why all the other Jill outfits are uniforms,including the battlesuit)I don't mind the outfit,but it's just not Jill's style.As for Regina - I don't really like her outfit sorry

I don't know...if people are joking, or if they're really not aware of this, but let me say my peace. Jill dresses that way because it's neccisary. She has to maneuver around alot of monsters and zombies, she can't be wearing loose clothes that are easy to grab. I don't know who read S.D. Perry's Resident Evil novels, but it explains it best. She wore the tube top and skirt because it would make it easier to move and zombies grabbing her shirt wouldn't have any purchase and slide off.
She states that she doesn't want to dress like that because it's not a whole lot of protection and it's cold(the reason she has a sweater tied around her waist)but since that's the best she has she has to. She planned on putting on the sweater when she got out of the city safely. That's the explination, make of it what you will, but I think it's a pretty good reason to dress "slutty" which, that's really all in the mind of whoever sees it, as I don't think that exposing your skin makes you a prrostitute unless you do it to get something out of someone(which alot of women do with their boyfriends and husbands anyway).

Though I donΒ΄t care how she clads herself I wonder , if light summer pants shouldnΒ΄t be as easy to move in, but warmer than a short skirt?
A positive fact about that outfit is, that it looks far less ridiculous than her RE1 one, but I think uniform design was not in her responsibility in the stars unit.
Oh yes, and in terms of video game outfits, that one is pretty tame, even many "shy innocent staff girl" type characters wear more revealing ones.

The RE1 outfit was much more practical, though, and that's what I'm focusing on with everything, practicality and availability. Unfortunately, she would've had to turn in her S.T.A.R.S. uniform when she got fired, which would've left her with the only practical civilian clothes she could find in a pinch.

Yeah. I'm a big Jill fan. I've always thought she was the best female role model in the series. Claire's too emotional, Rebecca's not very experienced, Ada's too untrustworthy, and Ashley isn't very bright.
I'm a guy, but I think Jill's probably the best role model for young girls in the series. She's strong, independant, intelligent, skilled, and still kind and easy to trust.
Not to mention, I do happen to be attracted to girls with short hair.

Because....I see this explination alot, and I know how fucking fangirls can get....it may all be a joke, but I was just telling the facts to be sure. In all honesty, the fact is she dresses like that because the videogames are targeted towards nerdy guys, who played the videogames alot more than anyone in those days, and it really wouldn't be very interesting if she were running around in a sweater and baggy jeans.....but hell, I'm pretty high right now, so....it may be a load of burned out bullshit.....and the new Joker kicks ass, but that quote is too overused......

Very funny. Apparently the creators of Resident Evil wanted to show Jill in a Miniskirt to satisfy fan boy dreams, but the majority of filming was done in Toronto...... at night.
