My final submission for 's Fortitude contest.

Fortitude Chapter 6

“…I understand,” I said coldly. “Forgive me then, General, for offending your honor.”

Then, wanting nothing more than to leave his sight before my resolve completely crumbled to dust, I turned my back on him and began to briskly walk away. I was halted mid-step, however, when Link’s hand suddenly caught my wrist. Frustrated, I forcefully tried to break free of his grasp, but he was having none of that. Within seconds his arm had grabbed me by the waist and I found myself pinned against him, looking up into his eyes.

“Don’t let this come between us,” he whispered fervently, his eyes gazing deeply into mine. "Please, Zelda, not here, not now...when I need you more than ever…”

And then his lips were upon mine, kissing me with pure, intense passion. My mind exploded into a flurry of emotions as my hands clutched the fabric of his shirt. Forcefully I struggled to push him away, but he held on relentlessly, kissing me until I could no longer resist him. Eventually my grasp on his shirt loosened and I quickly slid my hands around his waist and up his back, clutching his shoulder blades as I breathlessly kissed him back.

Ah, I wish you could see the original colored pencil version. It was much more detailed, but my scanner ruined it
Stone done in pencil, landscape in digital. I left the clothing in the colored pencil because to me, it gave it a more clothing like look. I colored this in MS paint on my laptop... without a mouse. Needless to say, it took sooo long, but it was worth it if you like it!
I personally like the line art version the best.
