Hm, with Gajeel and Levy I didn't really see it, like I can see it developing but it's like it's forced to develop sometimes. Whereas with Gray and Jjuvia, through one another's antics and responses to things the other says or does, they're learning about one another and they've found that they work well together (well, with the amount of Unison Raids they do xD).
I have this thing where I have a canon OTP and a fanon OTP so my fanon OTP would be Lyon x Gray but my canon OTP would be Gray x Juvia xD
Natsu and Lucy on the other hand...I don't see romance in there whatsoever, just a securely tight bond of friendship

Haha, yeah the canon and fanon OTPs are to bite back at the haters that always like to tell you that your OTP will never become canon in the anime/manga xD Cause I'm just like, Gray x Lyon may be my OTP but I know it's never gonna become canon and it's not like it's the only thing I ship lol. I made a video about my top 10 FT ships once and one person commented A LOT. Like, literally most of the comments were from that one person saying how this ship and that ship was funny cause it'd never be canon and I was like...I don't actually give a damn? Like ugh, people who just strictly stick to canon pairings only seriously don't know how to live xD
Yeah, they're like that exactly! I've heard that Natsu x Lucy is confirmed to be canon by the end of FT but I don't want it randomly thrown in, I want to see a romance develop between them (as much as I'll gag and cringe and hate it but I'm not the one writing it - if I was then Lyon would show up more often xD)
