Ironic, the biggest douchebag Dad gives sincerely understanding advice. Hell, he actually has a point that Ironwood does NOT trust anyone else other than himself in matters of security. He didn't trust Ozpin which led to his army coming to Vale, then getting hijacked by CINDER AND TORCHWICK. Now he doesn't trust Leo Lionheart...though it's in the air if that's justified or not.

Their army of living people is likely smaller than than their main army, my bet if he does go Palpatine on Remnant he'll go down the Droid Army route.

Meanwhile he'll probably gather like-minded individuals that dislike Ironwood and share his desire to bring the rest of Remnant under Atlas' control, which mean they would slowly begin the edge the General out of the picture. Maybe he would orchestrate an assassination of the general and point the blame at either White Fang or possibly at Vale in an attempt to give his supporters a reason to begin their conquest.
