this looks like a beautiful place to be, I like the post-sunset atmosphere - very calm and relaxed, the somewhat toned down colours work well with all the silhouettes. great composition, btw, it's all leading into the sunset - the clouds, the silhouettes, everything

Thanks for such a nice comment! I'm glad it all works so well... the orchestration of the photo wasn't nearly so serene. I saw the sun setting so I sprinted out the door with the camera bag and must have run more than half a mile til I hit water, then took as many pictures as I could until the sun set completely. We don't have palm trees here, so I had to make it worth my while

I like sunrises but as of yet I lack the fortitude to observe them very often. I used to have practices during sunrise, and it was awful! I will have to condition myself back to them.

I dig getting up early, though I've not been able to do it recently.. I've started staying up later for some reason..so I sleep later too now..ugh! but I DO love sunrise so much..
