Vision:
This piece is very visually appealing, and the colors clash well with each other, the shading is amazing, and the anatomy clashes very well with the art style.
10/10 on that.
Originality:
I don't really know much about your OCs and such, and there's nothing describing what's happening in the picture, but then I looked through your account, and noticed you came up with this character recently, so there is most likely no story behind them yet, therefore, I can't really say anything about that.
I don't know exactly what type of creature they are, so I classify it as undefined.
Though the design is original, I have seen a lot of similar fursonas all over the place, like... ALL over.
I'll take off a star for that, but otherwise, very original, and cool.
Technique:
At first glance, this is a wonderful piece, the colors are very nice, the shading is on point, the anatomy is great, the art style is visually appealing, etc. I was scrolling through the critiqueable, and I almost skipped this, because at first I thought there was nothing much to say about this except that it's beautiful, and though that is very true, I saw a few things that were off.
First of all, in some places, the lineart looks a little sloppy, and by a little, I mean so little, I almost didn't notice. But I see a few errors in the lineart, such as on the tail, right hand and ear, and especially the drool.
One way to fix this is to go back and fix any errors after your done lining. It gives it a very finished and overall better look.
Another thing is that a few parts in the coloring are a bit off, those being the marking on the arms, and hair.
For the marking on the left arm, the circle is not complete, and part of it is going on the chest fur. Same with the spot on the right arm, it goes a bit on the chest fur too.
Try drawing out the whole thing, and then erasing the parts where it wouldn't be seen.
As for the hair, the coloring is either faded out or non existent on some parts that should be at full opacity. After coloring, I suggest you do some touch ups to perfect it.
Lastly, though I said the shading is on point, and that is still true, some parts seem a little off to me. And when I say "a little", I mean "a little". Minor things.
The shading on the eyebrow is a little off from the line that you made for it, and there are some parts on the teeth that need fixing.
Again, do some touch ups after you finish doing each step.
Overall, the vision part of this is very good, and the one main thing to work on is touching up, which is very minor, but is important.
For everything I just mentioned, I will take off a half star, giving a grade of 4.5 stars.
Impact:
As I said before, I see this kind of stuff all the time, so it doesn't really impact much in the community, but the time put in this, and the use in color can inspire a lot of young artists, so that has an impact there.
I'll take off a star and a half because it's seen everywhere, giving you a 3.5 star rating.
Overall, this is a beautiful piece, and you just earned yourself a watcher. Keep up the great work!
