For 's drawing seminar, she wanted us to draw the charmander family line. c:I need to draw rocks more often, these don't look very good, I tried to use "composition clouds" to pull the eye away from them... xD
I tried many things for the fire, but I ended up just making some in after effects, I will need to practice stylized fire because it doesn't fit.
The shading should also apply a better texture. Ah- well. xD
Also, this cloud logic... ehh. xD At least I know what to work on for next time. < u>;
The little blue line flowing from Charizard's eye was inspired by Favetoni's works. :3

Future note to self: think about all eyes even if they are hidden when making the strokes. xD

I love making these kinds of backgrounds, to be honest with you besides a bit of composition I have no idea what I'm doing I just tap on the canvas and let my pen fly~ xD
By the way for the moon I used this: www.deviantart.com/art/MOON-ea… I just followed the steps but looked at an actual moon photograph while doing them. xD
