But here's Cobalt, the pretty muscle that everyone has a crush on!

About the Cobalt Blue Obsidians, they are an artificial prototype of gems (more so than normal gems) and were made after the war to test how little resources were possible to use to create a quartz-like gem. A small successful batch of CBOs were made, but they turned out to be far too fragile to be used like Quartzes in massive war. The ability to fuse trough glass-type elements was interesting, but proved far to useless in diamond's opinion, so no more were made, and the surviving CBOs were stashed.

personality: Cobalt has always feared the fragility of her gem, and witnessing the shatterings of her type only made more paranoid about it. This does not really show, but that is always on her mind. The assumed short life also has made her feel anxiety of not experiencing enough, and being trapped by Homeworld did not help. Cobalt turns into a sweet gem, who enjoys the little things in life, like a successful robbery or a beautiful sight of nebula from her dorm. Cobalt also enjoys listening to music and yoga.

bg: Witnessing the escape of Olivine - escorted by Philly - Cobalt begged to let them take her with them. Philly being impressed by her looks (and the stories) agreed with the permission of Olivine. having taken time to reform and think over her freedom, Cobalt then became the glass cannon of the team, being sneaky and using her abilites for spying and scouting. She also became to love her gem (even if still scared of shattering), and proudly flaunts herself and her beautiful gem. Everyone on the ship has a crush on her.
