I recolored the Charizard sprite from Pokemon Yellow to look more like the GBA sprites. Its actual more work than it looks. I wasnt sure if i wanted to put it up here but i did spend some time working on it so i figured why not? I havent felt like drawing in my sketch book so im just doing things with sprites ex, recolors and animations. I shaded it and highlighted it the way i wanted. The only thing i used was the base of the yellow sprite. I want to do more with pixel art so i can get good at it again. The more i practice the better right? I might do more pokemon. If i do i'll submit them in one piece. It will mainly be Yellow recolors since Yellow sprite poses are my favorite.Charizard(Sprite too) (c) Satoshi Tajiri/Gamefreak/Ken Sugimori(not sure if he designed the sprite)

Ahhh, Pokemon Yellow.... I still have my Yellow Version (two of them actually), and my GBA SP to play it, and I loved Charizard's pose there. Absoluely love the re-vamp you did here.

I do that alot too ^^ I've done charizard, Aerodactyl, all he evve evo's and some human sprites like ash, brock and misty. I just think that the original sprites were the best and when recoloured they look gorgeous ^^

i think i go a little crazy trying to edit a spirit, i've tried many times to redo a spirt of tails to make it look like angel my wolf character but i always get like crazy about it and stop

Editing something to look like another character is harder than recoloring. I'm gonna keep doing some sprite work till i can make sprites on my own from scratch. Its something ive wanted to do for a while.

Thanks very much ^_^. Um i didnt count but between 30 mintues to and hour i think. It could have been a little longer but it didnt seem to take me that long. Though time passes way fast when working on art it seems.

Heh making the base of a sprite takes a lot long that just coloring it. I know since ive made my own sprite mugshots.
