This is a really nice piece. It looks like a big city with sun all around it to me. I love all the textures and how the buildings have a brownish background witch reminds me of all the smoke in big citys and then a little further out of the city there is a really sunny place. Som how I dont fell like you were trying to get at that though.

this one is definately my favourite!
it's composition is probably it's best thing: the way you divided space with the elements you used...
the red bar gives it a great strenght and holds all the rest very good.
it brings everything together in that particulare space...
the 2D graphical elements were well used (the arrows and so), they really bring up the urban style you wanted to
as for the background i think it's probably one of it's high points as well since you created a great color gradient...
still i'm not so sure about the brick texture you used in one of the layers...

Nice work. The sunbursts' perspective is a bit off, though. Gives it a little uneasy "vertigo" feeling. Try making a common diminishing point for all the lines and see how it looks to you.
