...The wight unsheathed his sword and attacked the monstrous scull. He didn't pay attention to the new wounds he got, just stroke and stroke without pausing, and the same rage was in his eyes as it was when he fought the salamander-like wights in the ice ravine.
Lomyrin rushed to his aid at first but then stopped, fully aware of his uselessness in this battle, and waited in a distance till the scull was crushed at last and its pieces scattered in the snow. Then Daenar approached the elf with a sneer.
"You should not stand in a snowdrift for a long time! You may catch cold… "

This is awesome! I checked out the lighter version, but I think this one is way better. Besides, the picture itself is a bit on the dark side, so it's always best to keep the shadows.

It's really not boring ( even if it could be hard to understand some things if you don't have deeper knowledge about Tolkien world ( and your fic)) , even if it's long for begging. Personally, I love both characters, so I would love to find out everything about their relationship and things they done on their first mission together ( I can recognize future friends on 3000 miles 
It was rather difficult to find the best design for his clothing, so I started very.. randomly with that.. Inspiration from here: [link] Thing is that I wasn't really sure so I edited it very freely. ( I started doing it two days ago and I was re-reading your fic in case I miss something important, so at the end I had only around 15 hours to do it. You know me, everything is done in last minutes
P.S. I know his eyes are more purple, ( and in download version it can be seen) but I wanted t add light blue lightning for better expression ( to fit his sneer ). By definition of color theory I know sneer fits with more cold colors.

Well, I am glad you like it that much, I hope the real thing won't disappoint you. Though you have almost guessed the situation with saving Dae...
And I see with the references, they are really different. The purple hair part in the family tree is just due to the limited possibilities of the site where I was making the figures. I had to insert some bits of violet in his hair, and this was the only option. In fact it's just the general tint.
And about eyes... I think most of times they look just violet-black, bot bright purple or blue.. (and they don't change colour according to expression

I guessed it? I didn't know I'm that in "story mod ". You need to understand, I'm an active fantasy reader, so there really are few things that I can miss when I analyze characters ( just ask ~Manweri , she and I have a huge talks about my weird way of reading XD ). Anyway, shortly said, when I read I love to re-read things I like, but in perspectives of different characters... I think the most fun thing in reading is knowing the characters and their motivation. I love to understand how and why they are acting in some situations, in order to capture the pattern of their normal behavior and could think about them; thinkings type, what happened later and why.. Your "Some reference stuff" are giving quite a good foundation for thinking.
I believe that this long comment is the way to show you that, whatever ( and whenever ) you finish your story, I will be in first row for reading!
I understand things about color options. Sometimes options can be made really lame.
Only.. If I may ask.. Did I really missed his dressing style that much that it can be so well seen? 
And eyes, I didn't say that I changed its color, I just set the huge among of blue lighting from one side, so I could add blues light in eye. First eye color layer is purple.
And it's great that they don't change colour according to expression. Only lame Mary Sues have that kind of eyes. Your characters are much more special and much more unique to have them
