This is a symbolical render of the scene at the beginning of our by now over 2 years old roleplay, where my OC Liron with his magic healing saves her OC Svarik from certain death, almost brought at him by hand of, to say so, common enemy. <3
Simply said, this particular work represents Svarik, also called meadow king by the people of his land, ( human, the one that's wounded and unconscious ), and Liron, the elf, who is, symbolically, trying to hold of the blade of the death's scythe that's reaching for his near-death friend. Many symbols are added, like Svarik's flute, instrument he plays, broken in his hand, with death that's hooded as it's playing the exact same flute while trying to claim him. There is as well, all around characters, silhouette of a king heart playing card, to represent Svarik's both, title of meadow king, and his good heart. There's as well opposing of the two sides of the work - left is with grown thee and meadow flowers, right is with cut out tree and thorns, one representing life, the other death. So, life/death, tiny details, tears, and pain - yup, I'd say all the good stuff, through, I do have quite more to learn, I know : D
